Mr H's interview

Mr H had his interview today. Mine is next week. Our SW continues to be a crazy. Evidently she has an endless supply of cleft-palated, club footed rape produced babies. UGH!! I may be wrong but isn't the reason we can check our preferences of what we want and don't want is because they are OUR PREFERENCES?? Does she think we are taking or making these decisions lightly?

His interview took almost 2.5 hours. He said it was tedious and grueling. Evidently she offhandedly mentioned that our FBI checks came back clear. I'd think something like that would warrant an email.

She interviews the kids here tomorrow. I'm having issues with the teens again and am scared to death they are going to sink this ship before it even sails.

  1. I hope the kids cooperate tomorrow. And you're right, there are preferences for a reason. There are certain situations that I simply don't feel equipped to deal with. There is nothing wrong with that.

  2. I would be freaking out about the teenagers, too, but let's hope you and I are just paranoid. Sometimes teens will surprise you? But not always in a good way. :P I will PRAY for you on that! About your SW, that stinks. If you ever have a chance to get a new one, definitely jump on it. Our SW was not like that at all and was very supportive of our preferences. But, about the babies who are products of rape, here is one perspective: I have heard/read that it is not uncommon for a woman to say she was raped when she gives a baby up for adoption because it is a good excuse to give her family for making an adoption plan if they are against it. Hypothetically families are less likely to pressure a girl/woman to keep and raise a baby that she can't parent the way she wants to, if they think the baby is a product of rape. That might be why the SW is pressuring you on that one? I don't know, but it's not OK for her to do that.

  3. Wow, you're being put through quite a wringer! Silly nonsense filled woman.

I think, in her way of thinking, she's doing the right thing, trying to expand your options. Our SW did that too, but a little more subtly.

    Hang in there... :)
